Following these steps will maximize the efficacy of your facial wellness products.  It's worth the read!

Step 1: Remove your makeup using Melt.

Step 2: Use Cleanse to remove residual environmental pollutants and any excess oil. It's best to apply it with a konjac sponge.

Step 3: Apply Balance facial moisturiser - typically a dime sized amount.

Step 4: Apply Hydrate facial oil - typically two pumps.

Step 5: Apply sunscreen and/or makeup.

Below you will find an expanded version of the steps with tips from Dr. Brandey on how to best use your products!

Step 1: Remove your makeup using Melt.

Tip from Dr. Brandey:
“If you are not wearing makeup you can skip this step, however, oil cleansing will remove the bulk of the environmental pollutants that have accumulated on your face throughout the day, so even if you are not wearing makeup it's a good idea to use Melt first. For certain skin conditions, oil cleansing, even when not wearing makeup, can be highly beneficial. If you have questions about this step please reach out to us.

Step 2: Use Cleanse to remove residual environmental pollutants and any excess oil. It's best to apply it with a konjac sponge.

Tip from Dr. Brandey:
Pat dry (never rub dry your face), but leave your face slightly damp. Cleanse is more effective when applied with a konjac sponge. You will also use far less product when applying with a sponge! It also helps providing a daily mild mechanical exfoliation keeping your skin soft and clear.”

Optional Step: Apply your favourite water based serum.

Tip from Dr. Brandey:
"Don't use oil based serums before the moisturiser as this will impede nutrient absorption. Our moisturiser is designed to penetrate deeply into your skin and provide you will vital nutrients. Applying an oil beforehand will reduce that penetrative ability!"

Step 3: Apply Balance facial moisturiser - typically a dime sized amount.

Tip from Dr. Brandey:
“The best way to apply a moisturiser is to work from the middle-out (nose to ear). This helps with lymphatic drainage and will help reduce any puffiness and swelling. You can also take a little more of the moisturiser and dab it under the eyes to use it as an eye cream. The vitamins and mineral will help with an bags and under eye darkness!”

Step 4: Apply Hydrate facial oil - typically two pumps.

Tip from Dr. Brandey:
“As with facial moisturisers, the best way to apply a facial oil is to work from the middle-out (nose to ear). During the dryer months, you can blend a dime sized amount of the moisturiser with a drop of the facial oil on the back of your hand and then apply the blend to your face. Remember to still finish with the facial oil by itself to seal in all the nutrients!”

Step 5: Apply sunscreen and/or makeup.

Tip from Dr. Brandey:  "You should always wear sunscreen! Sunscreens with an SPF of 30 or higher will help prevents photoaging and skin damage. Foundations with SPF are typically not enough to protect you. You should opt for a stand alone, oil based, (non-nano) zinc based sunscreen. You can then apply your makeup over it!"
